Crop Report: Locally Grown Blackberries
More of our summer favorites are starting to harvest as we head into Mid-July. Look for our newest produce additions this weekend. We are super excited to have locally grown blackberries available again! Full list of produce available to follow.
Georgia peaches and melons have been excellent this year! They are the perfect snack for these hot summer days.
For those interested in freezing or canning peaches, we offer 25 pound boxes of peaches for $35. Just ask when you stop in and we can assist you! We will have peaches all summer long.
Unfortunately, no sweet corn yet. We hope to have some available in the next few days. We will send out a supplemental email as soon as it's here!
Salads are a summer go-to around here. After a hot day on the farm a cool, simple salad makes the perfect dinner. Our zucchini plants are loving these sunny days and are going nuts! This summer zucchini salad recipe from Love and Lemons is delicious! Link below.
Here's what we'll be cooling off with this weekend, Halfbaked Harvest's Blueberry Lemon Thyme Smash. Swing by for some fresh or frozen blueberries and a bunch of fresh cut thyme to mix up this perfect summer drink. This drink is great with blueberries or blackberries. We haven't tried a mix of blueberries and blackberries yet, but we might be on to something!
Thanks for checking in this week! We hope you have a wonderful week and stay cool!
