Crop Report: Autumn Leaves and Pumpkin Picking

October is here and that means Pumpkins! It's going to be a perfect weekend to head out to our U-Pick pumpkin patch. More details on pumpkins and a full list of apple varieties & produce available in our Farm Market to follow.

Just a reminder, we will NOT be doing u-pick apples this weekend. The varieties that would have been available for u-pick this weekend were lost in the spring freeze. We hope to have u-pick apples again in the upcoming weekends. Stay posted for details!

Our u-pick pumpkin patch is loaded with Jack'O Lantern pumpkins. If you search around you can even find some heirloom pumpkins! Just check-in at our u-pick booth before heading out to the patch.

Farm Entrance: $1 per person

Jack'O Lantern Pumpkins: 40 cents per pound

Specialty Pumpkins: Pricing varies

U-Pick concludes an hour before our Farm Market closes

It is truly fall at our Farm Market! The leaves are changing and we are loaded up on pumpkins and fall decorations. These cooler days have been perfect!

Even though we are not doing pick-your-own apples this weekend there are still so many to choose from already picked in our Farm Market. We were fortunate to have a great apple crop this year. There's nothing like a fresh picked apple! Look for picks of the week like Crimson Crisp and Crimson Gold.

Food Trucks this weekend:

Saturday: La Pampa

Sunday: Christian Bros

Winter squash is one of our fall favorites. We know many of you have your favorites from Spaghetti to Blue Hubbard. If winter squash is new to you, you can't go wrong with butternut. It has a delicious flavor and pairs great with almost everything! Here are a couple cozy fall recipes as we head into a chilly autumn weekend. Just click the photo for the recipe!
