Crop Report: Locally Grown Summer Favorites

Thanks for checking in this week! Our Farm Market is loaded with lots of delicious locally grown produce. Full list of produce available to follow.

We wait all year for Brentlinger's Sweet Corn. It's hands down the best around! Find Brentlinger's Sweet Corn fresh picked daily in our Farm Market.

We're getting close to U-Pick blackberries! Continue to check our website for updates.

We have a limited amount of Ohio Lodi apples available. Lodi is an early variety that is best for sauce. Although, they are excellent for sauce we do not consider them a great eating apple. Fall apple varieties will be here before we know it!

For those of you who have an order in for Tart Michigan Cherries, the cherries should arrive closer to the end of July. We will contact you as soon as they are here. We can't wait!

Here are some yummy recipes that are perfect for these hot summer days. We made the Black Bean and Corn Salad for a family cookout, so good! We kicked the recipe up a notch and added diced zucchini and grape tomatoes. Local produce makes all the difference! Links to recipes below pictures.

If you're like us then you're eating as many peaches as we can while they are in season! Of course you can't go wrong with a peach dessert, but try one on a sandwich. A savory twist to peaches has been one of our favorite things this summer. Links to recipes below pictures.
