Crop Report: 4th of July Favorites
Happy 4th of July weekend! Lots of delicious produce available in our Farm Market as we head into the holiday weekend. Stop by for cookout favorites like, watermelon, peaches and tomatoes! Full list of produce available to follow.
We will be open this Saturday, July 4th, with holiday hours, 9am to 2pm. Sunday we will be open our usual hours, 11am to 5pm.
We've had lots of questions this week about sweet corn and green beans. Due to a cold spring everything is a little behind this year. We hope to have both available in our Farm Market in a week or so. Stay posted!
We are still taking orders for tart pitted cherries! Michigan tart cherries arrive fresh in 10 pound buckets and they are already pitted, it can't get any better! Get your order in by July 15th! Send us an email, give us a call or stop in for more details.
It's going to be a hot weekend! Cool down with some of these watermelon themed summer treats. We love to add fresh mint and basil from the garden to our watermelon salads, such a great flavor combo! Links to recipes below.

There is nothing we enjoy more than a farm to table meal! Yesterday we picked a big batch of zucchini and made Zucchini Parmesan Crisps for dinner. At the end of the day we never have much energy to cook but these crisps were a super simple side to burgers on the grill. Recipe below. We took our crisps to the next level and added fresh rosemary, game changer!
Love and Lemons blog has been one of our go-to's for summer recipes. They have some great ideas for incorporating zucchini into your weekly menu! Link below.
